The additional coaches will be added to different classes, including sleeper, second class, and general compartments, depending on the train route and the expected demand. The extra coaches will be operational between October 1st and 15th, 2024, coinciding with the Dasara celebrations.

Several other trains will be partially canceled, including 06574 and 06580 Tumkur-Yeshavantpur, 06591 and 06592 Yeshavantpur-Hosur, 06593 and 06594 Yeshavantpur-Chikkaballapur, 06393 and 06393 Yeshavantpur-Hosur, 06573 Yeshavantpur-Tumkur, 16239 and 16240 Chikkamagaluru-Yeshavantpur, and 16207 and 16208 Mysuru-Yeshavantpur. Train 22697 SSS Hubli-Dr MGR Chennai Central Express will take an alternate route on specific dates. Train 06511 Banaswadi-Tumkur Express will also take a different route. Train 11311 and 11312 Solapur-Hassan Express will take an alternate route from August 20th to September 18th. Train 16546 Sindhanur-Yeshavantpur Express will be delayed by 90 minutes from Sindhanur station, and train 06545 Yeshavantpur-Vijayapura Express will be delayed by 30 minutes from Yeshavantpur station.
