While Shalimar has trains to South India, accessibility is still a problem during night time. Sanz~ 8534 blog postsThis train could be run daily except Wednesday especially during festivals as it gathers decent crowd in Sdah-Ndls section. I hope Sdah division does have a all AC spare rake.
But it will need extra secondary maintenance slots in Bikaner which are not present in current scenario.
Is there enough of boarding at Delhi towards Bikaner to compensate the deboardings from Howrah? A biweekly service can be run from Sealdah to Delhi on Tue and Sat and return on Wed and Sun. This service SM can be skipped at Delhi with general cleaning as round trip distance is 2900 km and PM at origin.
