Why not extend this train till Ludhiana Junction with halts at Panipat and Ambala on extended portion ?
Industrial Cities would get connected.
Ludhiana would get additional Mid Day Premium Option from/to New Delhi. New Delhi would get rid of stabling the rake.
Timing especially in return would automatically switch to Late Evening Departure from New Delhi towards Kanpur. Giving people more diversified option...

Either of one train's day of running should be changed because in both trains approx 100+100 passengers travel from umb to ndls.

But I think it is a 10 coach train and presently we have 8 or 16 VB.
The benefit of conversion will be no dynamic fare will be charged from this train.
But days of run should be somehow manage in order to cater passengers.
