Several trains will be canceled, including the Adra-Barkakana-Adra MEMU Passenger, Dhanbad-Ranchi-Dhanbad Intercity Express, Asansol-Ranchi-Asansol MEMU Special, Ranchi-Bokaro Steel City-Ranchi Passenger Special, Dumka-Ranchi-Dumka Express, Hatia-Bardhaman-Hatia MEMU Express, Kharagpur-Ranchi-Kharagpur MEMU Express, Hatia-Kharagpur-Hatia Express, Hatia-Tatanagar-Hatia Express, Patna-Ranchi-Patna Express, Jhargram-Dhanbad-Jhargram MEMU Express, Bardhaman-Hatia-Bardhaman MEMU Express, Dumka-Ranchi-Dumka MEMU Express, and Bokaro Steel City-Ranchi-Bokaro Steel City Passenger Special. Several other trains will have their routes changed, including the New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express, Jammu Tawi-Sambalpur Express, Dhanbad-Alappuzha Express, Anand Vihar-Hatia Express, Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar Special, and Puri-New Delhi-Puri Express.

Due to pre-non-interlocking and non-interlocking work at Andul station in the Kharagpur division, over 200 train schedules have been affected. Additionally, the timings of many trains have been adjusted. The existing train operating timetable has been extended to December 31, 2024, by various railway zones.
