U can travel Ask TTE for seats if seats avbl he will charge the difference fare only However its short distance I guess till the TTE will come u may reach Muri
Feb 15 2023 (17:18) Regarding your question, yes you can board the train & talk to TTE & pay the extra fare (in this case, I guess it would be 15-25 rs extra) if seats are empty

Instead book an online ticket in current reservation or a counter ticket from Current reservation counter at Ranchi Jn. (just beside the Unreseeved ticket windows), just to lessen your hassle. Regarding your question, yes you can board the train & talk to TTE & pay the extra fare (in this case, I guess it would be 15-25 rs extra) if seats are empty.
Seats are always available in current availability from Ranchi even during peak season. So accordingly precisely are two options I have:- Option 1: Get a SF UR (₹75) ticket all the way for PRR. Need to hunt for vacant coach. No reticketing required at MURI. Negotiation may be required if TTE appears. Option 2: Get a current seat (₹80) for MURI. Peace till MURI. Run to ticket counter window at MURI to get UR PASS ticket (₹20) for PRR. MEMU departs only 10 mins. after Janshatabdi departure. Both... more...
have stakes. 🙂 Connectivity between RNC and PRR is surely commendable.😆
Option 1 not viable (AFAIK), You'll have to take UR ticket till Muri only if you want to travel in JS. TTE (if he finds out, which has high probability, as mostly tickets are checked by the time train crosses Silli) won't make EFT for station which train does not touch (in your case PRR). Bribing an option here to let you travel till Muri (Which I guess will mostly work), but may cost you more than the ticket.
