Now it's a major-sized depot with all the dope facilities in the BZA division. The Kakinada coaching depot is holding 262 CBC/LHB coaches for maintenance. Peep this: Seshadri EXP got 4 rakes, Gouthami SF has 2 rakes, Cocanada SF/TOD Special has 2 rakes, COA-LTT EXP got 1 rake, COA-SNSI EXP got 1 rake, COA-BVC/SNSI got 1 rake, and there's a full-length CBC/LHB rake at the depot for spare use. Oh, and about Gouthami SF, when it links up with Devagiri EXP, 2 more rakes with 44 LHB Stock will hit up the depot, increasing capacity to 306 coaches. Now about the crew - the depot is led by ADME, SSE/C&W with 8 other SSEs handling maintenance, sick line activities, and linen stuff. There are 400 regular employees and 150 outsourced ones hustling round the clock. On the freight tip, they're checking out about 5 trains daily. And their infrastructure game is strong with 3 pit lines and a fancy washing plant. They also got Stable lines and some construction in the works. Last but not least, they're upgrading the yard and electric setup for the pit lines. Peace out!
