Meet to discuss land acquisition issues btwn Rlys & State:

of the primary agendas of the meeting was to discuss the challenges and progress concerning land acquisition for various ongoing new line projects i.e. Rayadurga - Tumkur via Kalyanadurga, Tumkur - Chitradurga – Davangere, Munirabad (Ginigera) – Raichur, Shivamogga – Shikaripura - Ranebennur, Belgaum – Dharwad, Hassan – Belur.

The @GMSWR emphasised the importance of acquiring land promptly to ensure the timely completion of these vital railway infrastructural developments, the release said .

During the discussion, the status of land acquisition for ongoing new line projects across Karnataka reviewed. The meeting provided an opportunity to identify bottlenecks and devise strategies to expedite the acquisition process effectively.

In his remarks, Shrivastava reiterated the commitment of the Railways to collaborate closely with the state government to overcome any hurdles hindering the acquisition of land for railway projects. He emphasised the significance of these projects in enhancing connectivity, facilitating economic growth, and improving the overall transportation infrastructure in the region.

The Chief Secretary assured full support and cooperation from the Karnataka govt in resolving land acquisition issues promptly. He emphasised the importance of seamless coordination between various stakeholders to ensure the smooth progress of railway projects across the state.

They expressed their commitment to maintaining regular communication and coordination to address any emerging challenges promptly. The meeting concluded with a renewed sense of determination to expedite land acquisition processes and ensure the timely completion of railway projects for the benefit of the people of Karnataka.

He also discussed the various issues pertaining to the list of projects on priority where funds from government of Karnataka and railways are requested/deposited for ongoing Railway projects during 2024-25 and issues pertaining to transmission Line Works by KPTCL for Railway Electrification Projects and Road Over Bridges/Road Under Bridges and closure of LC gates.

Shri Yogesh Mohan, Divisional Railway, Bengaluru, BBMP Commissioner, KRIDE Chairman, MD KPTCL and other senior officers were present.

ब्रह्मावर्त एक्स. निरस्त, मंधना से मिलेगी फर्रुखाबाद पैसेंजर

कानपुर। प्रधानमंत्री के रोड शो के चलते शनिवार को अनवरगंज से रावतपुर रेलवे स्टेशन का रूट चार घंटे तक प्रभावित रहेगा। शाम पांच से रात नौ बजे तक ट्रेनों का संचालन नहीं होगा।

रेलवे ने कानपुर ब्रह्मावर्त एक्सप्रेस अप और डाउन ट्रेन नंबर 01827/01828 निरस्त की है।
▪ वहीं, कासगंज-अनवरगंज पैसेंजर 15038 फर्रुखाबाद से चलकर मंधना स्टेशन तक ही आएगी।
▪ कानपुर-अनवरगंज-फर्रुखाबाद पैसेंजर 05343 शनिवार को मंधना स्टेशन से चलेगी।
▪ फर्रुखाबाद-छपरा एक्सप्रेस 15084 फर्रुखाबाद स्टेशन से साढ़े चार घंटे देरी से चलेगी।
▪ कालिंदी एक्सप्रेस 14117 और लखनऊ-जयपुर एक्सप्रेस 19716 को सेंट्रल स्टेशन पर रोका जाएगा।

यह दोनों ट्रेनें अनवरगंज रूट से होकर जाती हैं। वहीं, रोड शो के समय अनवरगंज से कल्याणपुर रेलवे स्टेशन के बीच ओएचई लाइन बंद कर दी जाएगी। (संवाद)

कासगंज एक्सप्रेस समेत चार ट्रेनें निरस्त

कानपुर। शनिवार को अनवरगंज से रावतपुर के बीच शाम पांच से रात नौ बजे के बीच ट्रेन संचालन बंद रहने का असर ट्रेनों पर पड़ेगा। प्रयागराज से चलकर भिवानी जाने वाली 14117 कालिंदी एक्सप्रेस और 19716 जयपुर-लखनऊ एक्सप्रेस को कानपुर सेंट्रल पर रोका जाएगा। इसी तरह 15038 कासगंज एक्सप्रेस और 05343 अनवरगंज फर्रुखाबाद पैसेंजर को मंधना में शार्ट टर्मिनेट किया जाएगा।
