Adhir Chowdhury will inaugurate tomorrow the works for applying Jute Geo Synthetic at the sides of the railway tracks in the routes of BLYG-DKAE and Balitikuri- DKAE on experimental basis. This technique may save from soil erosion (presently iron nets are being used) which may reduce the amount of works for track repairing by 25%. Bangladesh has already implemented this JGT technology successfully.

Sealdah - Puri Duronto & Sealdah - Puri Special are full in October. Rly should introduce more trains in this route. Sealdah - Puri, Chitpur - Chennai, Chitpur - Mumbai etc

One Rail officer told me that Dankuni - Satragachj EMU train via Baltikuri would run after track strengthening and & Bhattanagar new platform
Dankuni - Baltikuri EMU train may not fulfill our demand. Our demand more extension of the route. We need Dankuni - Satragachi Local via Baltikuri. Other Sealdah - KGP Local best.
Need Barddhaman Chord Local & Dankuni Local in this ignore section by ER in the budget. Need also proper connection between Barddhaman Chord & Sealdah-Dankuni train at Dankuni Station. DOWN Barddhaman Local Chord departs BWN at 3.35 pm & arrives Dankuni at 5.10 pm, DOWN Dankuni Local departs Dankuni at 5.06 pm. Is it right ?????
