Some of the Pantrywalas really look as if they come from some of the roughest neighborhoods in India.Seriously,this is the kind of service you get in Rajdhanis.The Janta should go and give some a** whooping of it's own to the Contractor to whom the Pantry/Catering work is outsourced.

I hope the pair of boots are solely for the protection/comfort of the feet and not to spank the passenger in case he complaints. :)

Ya seriously.The Swagger these guys show during the journey shows they are unperturbed and really are at ease and oozing confidence.They know,they own the train and the passengers.Their body language is like of a Master bossing his disciples.

I read that the LPs also have some sort of "Understanding" with the vendors who board the train to sell snacks/beverages...i mean not the regular caterers of the Pantry and the LPs get a share of the earnings and then they slow the train considerably to allow them to disembark at a predetermined station.Don't know if it's true or not........but anything is possible in this country.

I know the intention is good behind this blog but someone will come up with the "Political angle" and you know the rest and as far as Railways is concerned......it has always suffered due to,yes you guessed it right "Politics" and it will continue to suffer just as you see it in "Oil subsidies"."Oil Subsidies" will do more harm than good if you take a long term look similarly,railways will suffer if pragmatic steps are not taken.

Try PRS nxt time onwards,it may coz u lotta inconvenience but it atleast gives u a chance to book something.
