Was bread jam also given? Recently a relative of mine travelled in this train and he mentioned that Bread jam was not given and instead a chocolate was given.. same I heard is done in 12028 also

promethsuresh^~ 3545 blog postsFor passengers who would like to travel to Kerala ( towards PGT ,TCR, ERS, ALLP, QLN, KCVL) from Mysore board the 12008/Mysuru - Chennai Central Shatabdi Express at 14:15 and alight at SBC at 16:15 and board the 16315/KSR Bengaluru - Kochuveli Express and this is a very convenient option as there is very less transfer time.

Good tip but now not fully applicable as 16315 is extended to Mysore.. The tip is still applicable for people who want a slightly later departure from Mysore

Great capture, yesterday this train hauled 22666 Uday and 22626 SBC-MAS DD..hope it comes to SBC again tomorrow

Of course, but from what I've seen, cbe just has a handful of seats under its quota (PGT even worse), but TCR has plenty of seats, hence the tip. I still feel, paying those extra bucks is better than travelling by bus...

Was it from TCR to SBC or CBE to SBC? And yes, with GNWL, such confirmations do happen.

Yeah maybe. Was 12678 punctual then? Now-a-days, It rarely comes on-time. Usually arrives SBC with a 30-min delay on an average.

Nope, I would not recommend this.. even 11014 is very unpredictable.. my suggestions are :
1) If Kongu express is possible, do take it, it's slower than KSK, but hassle-free
2) You coud take 22666 Uday (the only punctual non-overnight train between CBE and SBC), spend 8-9 hours at SBC and then take KSK.
