The railings on the escalator entrance at PF5 are broken. And I wonder what is the purpose, if any, behind starting the escalator after a climb of five stairs without a ramp. Defeats the entire purpose.
Tea / Coffee, packed dinner was catered after train left SBC. There was someone from an authorised vendor as well who was accepting orders for dinner, and later supplied them. Chappathi Kurma, Idli vada and pulav were some names that I heard.

Very fast piloting from Ambur... 2 minutes before time...
Following food items encountered: tea, coffee, hot badam milk, cold badam milk, medhu vadai, dosa, omelette, samosa, biscuits, wafers, chips and dosa.
Tried the medu vadai and coffee. the vadai (3 pcs, 30 bucks) were actually hot and quite delicious.
No picture available because i was hungry and ate immediately... without thinking... :)
seemed to run fast... not sure where was the time lost?

Departure at 0858
At Malur. 09.14 am. The sun is out, lovely day. Train moving at good pace.
Following food and beverage items have so far been offered: water, cold drinks, tea, coffee, hot badam milk, cold badam milk, masala dosa, masala vada, medu vada, samosas, hot podi
Add the following to the previous list: bread omelette, onion vadai, cutlet, biscuits, chips and wafers.
Finally entered JTJ after spending eight minutes at theouter signal bbefore the station.
No biriyani from vaniyambadi on the train, alas!
Am sure that the train could run faster.
Stopped somewhere before KPD. Considering this is the only train in this direction at this time, such unplanned stops are not appreciated.
