I thi k they should remove stop at Gandhi Nagar Jaipur and rather add a stop at Adarsh Nagar Delhi (by may be augmenting some basic facilities at Adarsh Nagar). It will help reduce some strain from Delhi Cant as well.

Most likely it will not fetch enough passengers. VB is needed between Jodhpur and Delhi via Jaipur. Similarly, a VB is needed between Delhi and Udaipur via Kota. Both these seactions have enough demand.

I don't know why but it looks like all of these trains have a lot of slack. IR should be a bit more aggressive with VBs as the fare charged is steep the time taken in the journey should also come down as much as possible.

Thanks for your insights Deepak. Do you have any idea where the increased speed limits (e.g. 130kmph to 160kmph in MMCT-BRC sector, Rewari to Abu Road from 110 to 130kmph etc.) should be able to reduce time taken by trains in say next 2-3 years? Which sections should expect 10-15% reduction in time taken for all trains? Thanks.

I think instead of launching this VB, they should have simply extended Lko Gorakhpur VB to PNBE which is also shorter than this route.
