जबलपुर-नागपुर इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस व्हाया नैनपुर- बालाघाट से गोंदिया तक परिचालन। ट्रेन नंबर 22191 व 22192 जबलपुर से इंदौर ओवर नाइट एक्सप्रेस जो इंदौर से जबलपुर तक चलती है। यह ट्रेन शाम 7:30 बजे इंदौर से चलकर सुबह 5 बजे मदनमहल जबलपुर पहुंच जाती है, जो लगभग 18 घंटे खड़े रहने के बाद पुन: रात 10:30 बजे इंदौर के लिए रवाना होती है। उक्त ट्रेन का रूट विस्तार करके इंदौर से गोंदिया व्हाया नैनपुर-बालाघाट तक चलाया जाए।

मंडला बालाघाट आदिवासी अंचल की जनता का सीधा संपर्क प्रदेश की राजधानी भोपाल से हो जाएगा। ट्रेन नंबर 22181 व 22182 गोंडवाना एक्सप्रेस जो वर्तमान में हजरत निजामुद्दीन से जबलपुर के मध्य चलती है। इसका विस्तार कर हजरत निजामुद्दीन से नैनपुर, बालाघाट, गोंदिया होकर इतवारी तक चलाया जाए। बिलासपुर से इंदौर तक व्हाया गोंदिया, बालाघाट, नैनपुर से जबलपुर नई ट्रेन चलाया जाए। ट्रेन 22190 जबलपुर से रीवा इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस का रूट विस्तार कर गोंदिया तक चलाया जाए। रीवा से जबलपुर ट्रेन 51701 शटल नैनपुर तक किया जाए। बिलासपुर से जबलपुर के मध्य व्हाया गोंदिया, बालाघाट से नैनपुर होकर इंटरसिटी एक्सप्रेस नई ट्रेन चलाया जाए। इसी तरह राष्ट्रीय उद्यान कान्हा किसली के नाम पर कान्हा के नाम जबलपुर से मंडला नई ट्रेन का संचालन हो।
