Haan, sab election propaganda hai. Abhi votes ke liye thoda earthwork/survey progress dikha denge, jab jeet jaayenge tab fir bhul jayenge. Indore-Manmad line is a project imagined since British era, aaj angrezon ko gaye itne saal ho gaye, line pe kaam shuru tak nahin hua. Upar se MP government Bhopal-Indore highway 6 lane karne wali hai jiski koi zarurat nahin hai. Bhopal-Indore already have good road and train connections. Indore-Khandwa railway line doesn't exists anymore, upar se road 2 lane hai aur bahut khatarnaak. Jahaan paisa kharch karna chahiye wahan kabhi nahin karte, faltu ki cheezon(Humsafar,Tejas,Train 18) mein paisa udaana railway ka naya shauk hai aajkal :(
Mujhe to railway pe taras aata hai kai baar, kyunki ye log apna fayda hi nahin dekh paate. Aaj agar indore-khandwa ya indore-manmad ban gaya hota to sabse zyada fayda railway ko hota, freights ke liye ek accha north-south route mil jaata jisse main routes pe express trains time aur speed se chalti(due to load reduction). Railway hamesha isiliye ghaate mein rehta hai, kyunki bacha khucha fayda inka politicians uthaa lete hain :)
Mhow-Khandwa ka ghat section/tunnels dekh kar waise hi WR ki fati mein aa gai hai :) Upar se Rau-Pithampur-Dhar section pe WR tunnel bana raha hai, jabki wo pura flat area hai by road, no hilly area at least around Pithampur. I wonder what is the current status of Sanawad-Khandwa gauge conversion, Purnesh Ji aapko jaankari hai koi latest?
