It'll most likely run with a faster controlling from KOTA to NZM for a week while they see savings, before they redo the timetable. It sounds like they have approval for the new timetable. Has anyone here seen a copy?

It's a significantly challenging section. I would not be surprised if the electrification was delayed for so long because of doubling. There are many other sections where electrification was stalled for so long because the section had to be doubled as well. Some examples that come to mind are AWR-BKI, AII-MJ, and ABR-RANI. Only recently, due to the increased prioritization, could electrification speed pick up. I hope it goes similarly for CPU-CAR.

This is correct. With an MPS of 160, 12050 is able to attain an average speed of 110+ between NZM and AGC. Realistically, if one drops NAD from 12952's timetable, it should be possible to attain an average of 120, which would cover the distance in just under 12 hours.
