Bahut jyada chances hai ki tatkal mein aapko 2A tickets mil jayenge, bas aapko 10 baje taiyar hona aur tatkal booking mein achhe se practice honi chahiye. 2A aur 3A tickets aam taur par Mumbai se Habibganj (ab Rani Kamlapati) tak current booking mein milte hain. Agar aap apna ticket Bhopal Junction tak extend karte hain, toh aapke safar mein Habibganj se sawar hote logon ke saath overlap ho jata hai, isliye current booking mein dikhega ki tickets kam hai, lekin asal mein available jitne hai.

Orai se Kanpur tak 110 kilometer ki section ko cover karne ke liye teen ghante diye jate hain, jo ki zaroorat se thoda zyada hai. Isliye yeh train almost hamesha schedule se pehle Kanpur pahunchti hai. Pantry mein achha khana milta hai, bas thoda mehenga hai shayad.

Yo, I took this train from Surat to Ratnagiri on December 6, 2021, in AC 3 Tier. I booked the ticket in Tatkal and it was hella easy to get one as this train has a big tatkal quota (more than 100 seats, I think). I grabbed some Egg Biryani on the train and it was alright. The cleanliness was decent enough and the train was super punctual, which was dope. Delhi folks might find it a little bothersome though, 'cause it leaves Nizamuddin early in the morning (like at 5am, I guess). But on the whole, this train is lit for travelling from Delhi, Kota, or Gujarat to the Konkan coast.

The train was on time enough. I traveled from Panvel to Ratnagiri on December 20, 2021 in the Sleeper Class. Punctuality was good. It left Panvel a little late (about 15 minutes), but arrived in Ratnagiri early (about five minutes). The pantry car is working and they serve biryani, tea, and other stuff regularly. The food quality is decent. However, cleanliness is a big problem on this train. All the toilets were clogged with shit, and the floors were wet and dirty. Almost none of them had a working flush. If you're on time (10am for AC, 11am for non AC), there's a very good chance of getting last-minute tickets. Most of the journey in the Konkan happens during the day, so that's a plus for train enthusiasts. Overall, it's an okay train to travel on, but there are better options available if you're looking to travel to the Konkan from Delhi, Kota, or Gujarat.
