Major facelift in Adra division after 20 years of gap.
Railway Board has approved installation of advanced interlocking ahead of major doubling and tripling. New structure at Purulia is planned as triple line(3+3), double line(2) and siding, sick, extra(4); a total of 12 pathways with more than 49 routes for each direction.
