Oh..so this for controlling the volume of the announcement which one might hear in the cabin..but who makes these announcements? And what announcements do they make generally?

No there isn’t any such thing…I’ll post a pic tomorrow..train is ahead of Kanpur now and will stop at NDLS
Posting a small overview of my journey from GKP to NDLS in Train No-12565 Bihar Sampark Kranti Express:
1. I had booked in 2-AC, it got upgraded to 1-AC. :)
2. The train was delayed by around 10 mins when it arrived at GKP; however, it arrived on time at NDLS (maybe late by 2 mins or so)

Today I saw a vehicle in Gorakhpur which had a number of Bihar with a A4 paper written " GM S.W.R." on the windshield. The people on the backseat were ladies and children but the man on the front seat looked to be actually the GM of SWR. (Googled him). What is he doing in GKP??? Any idea??

Out of curiosity only and no hatred, :) , how many trains and to which destinations trains have been awarded to Ghazipur by Manoj Sinha(MoS). Also tell the new works sanctioned at Ghazipur.
