If the traction change is at WADI. Then the training (if any) would be for GTL division crew, right? SUR division crew will be continuing with d-locos, isn't it?

The entire report has been based on your RTI /blog/post/3214538. The reporter has just used the signature on your RTI and just used "stated" for the officer's comment. Would have been better if he had got a quote from the officers or PRO or some higher official, rather writing an entire report based on a RTI. Surely the authorities would comment to a major newspaper on the progress and tentative date of opening.

A couple of months ago while waiting for GG at YPR, I met an ALP who said he came with Kondaveedu and he came from DHNE to YPR!!!
I thought all trains (except few) had crew change at DMM. But he said SBC crew operates till DHNE or GTL. I didn't get the chance to ask him in detail which trains have crew change at DMM.

But then with LSA anything is possible.
Say, GTL has LR. So instead of LR, if they opt for LC? And if GTL wants to send some E-Loco back to LGD, then what better way than to send till GR and then from there with another train to SC/HYB.

Yes Basava is full of surprises :) It made all those waiting for Shatabdi to be the first to get E-Loco, bhakras XD XD XD

The time it halts at YPR is the biggest advantage for it to get E-Loco from GR to YPR. Lot of time......

Yes. Possibility..... that's all.
The MS-MDU section used to have E-Loco change at VM many years ago. Short distance too E-Loco is given.
The fact LC is preferred over LR and GTL needing to send some E-Loco back to LGD, is what I thought.

Basava? Carries EMD till where? I thought it got EMD from MYS to BGK and back and sometimes changes EMD to EMD at YPR.
