isko ab WAP4 toh milna mangta hai! I agree WAP7 not possible due to absence of BRC variant and WAP5 toh technical issue hai..so atleast ek BRC WAP4/WAP4E toh banta hi hai..

Well its refreshing to see the change in WR and CR over the last 2 yrs..
I left Maharashtra and moved to north in 2011 when these 2 regions were mostly DC..was getting bored of watching DC and ACDC locos for over a decade..
but yes sad at the same time to see my favorite Pune-DD-MMR route moving from 0 volts to 25000 volts..

it will det wap4 surely in near future but wap5 me kya technical flaw hai??
ghat chadhne ki fight hai..isliye 12263/64 ka regular wap5 link hata ke wap7 de diya..waise wap5 on ghats cud have been sorted out with wag7 bankers..but uske tractive effort ke kuch limitations thi tab bhi..
Bhore ghat me wap7 hauling train ko bhi to Banker wag lagte hai ya nehi??..
BRC is still not able to Manage WAP locos for its trains, till today Superfast train like 12935/36 Surat Intercity is mostly powered by WCAM 1, then from Where it will bring loco for other Zone trains?
Moreover AJNI should Concerntrate on for Loco Sharing with Prerna Exoress and Duronto Express at Ahmedabad.
