Dear customer,
We are extremely sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. Kindly note that your refund case of PNR No. 6721790427 registered with the case was regretted once stating " TKT not Surrendered/TDR not within 2/3/3 Hrs(CNF/RAC/WL) of actual departure of Train." on 18-Dec-2013. On your request case has reopened and forwarded to CCM(Refunds)/ CR Railway on dt. 03-jan-2014 again for reviewing and further processing.
As per policy framed by Railway Board, refund is processed by the Zonal Railway under whose jurisdiction destination station of the train falls. IRCTC only provides access to Railway Passenger Reservation system through its server & Internet connectivity to book the ticket through it. Railway & IRCTC are different entities. TDR’s filed by the customers are directly dealt by the concerned Railway for decision. IRCTC has no role in deciding the refund. On receipt of refund amount from the Railways, it is credited to the account of the customer through same payment gateway which was used while making booking.
Note: Dear Team, Please expedite the long Pending TDR Refund case vide PNR No. 6721790427 with ECRS system.The case pertain to 27-November-2013 and pending for (Approx) 3 month. You may please check and take necessary action.
