Guess additional in the other than IRCTC charges, mentioning if ticket charge is Rs.400/- and balance is Rs.300/- you can't book it....So we need to make sure we have enough balance in the kitty and proceed for booking.
For me, as per rules applicable in e-Wallet Scheme, it is useless. Mainly it can help booking Tatkal Ticket Faster. But the Scheme is not available between 8AM to 12 Noon. And max limit of 5000 is much on the lower side. This should have been 15000.
Yes, the banks wont agree if IRCTC simply wants to make money and dent Banks profit.
