Grievance Description : PNR : 4709067098 Date of Travel : 10-Nov-2013 Class of Travel : SL Train Name / No : Kaveri Express / 16021 Coach : S11 Grievance 1. The TTE informed and collected excess fare of Rs 5. Since I had no change, I had provided him with Rs 10. The TTE informed that he would get back with the receipt and change. Could not get the same even after 2 requests. In short the TTE recovered twice the amount from me without even providing me with the receipt. 2. The TTE allowed a lot of waitlisted and general ticket passengers onboard creating inconvenience and security issues for the regular public. We pay for reserved coaches to be free of such encroachments and have a peaceful journey. We now have to fight our way for our right and usage of toilets as all these unauthorized passengers are onboard the reserved coaches. The TTE who should take care of these turns a blind eye and does not care. This seems to be the regular practice in all the trains. Why have rules if you cannot enforce them. One such unauthorized passenger tried to snatch a lady's gold chain and was caught and handed over to Arakkonam RPF. the persons involved also created a ruckus and disturbed all the passengers in the coach by pulling the chain (Of the Train) atleast twice. Ultimate we had to reach more than 20 mins late at our destinations. All this is because unauthorized passengers were allowed to board and the authorities are not concerned about these unauthorized passengers who create a lot of inconvenience for the passengers
