1. Pench: Starts from edging areas of Seoni and Chhindwara districts. Falls on Kanhan River at Bina Sangam, Nagpur.

2. Kanhan: Originates from Kanhan Valley, of Chhindwara distt and falls on Wainganga River at Ambhora, Nagpur, jn point of Nagpur and Bhandara distt.

3. River Wainganga: Originates from Satpura Range near Lakhnadon in Seoni district, and merges with Wardha river near Kouthala, Adilabad and form Pranhita river.

4. Penganga: Starts from Ajanta Range of Aurangabad distt and falls on Wardha river near Wadha village, Chandrapur.

5. Wardha: Starts from Satpura Range near Multai, Betul and merges with Wainganga to form Pranhita.

6. Pranhita: Starts near Kouthala, Adilabad when Wardha and Wainganga combines and falls on Godavari river at Kaleshwaram, Karimnagar distt.

7. Indravati: Originates from Dandakaranya Range of Eastern Ghats in Kalahandi distt, Odisha and falls on Godavari river near Ankisha, Yavatmal at the jn point of Chhattisgarh, AP and Maharashtra States.
