Duronto concept to be fruitfull needs some time in India. And it will be Succeefull for distance upto 600 Kms route only.
Best things of Duronto is its non stop so Ideally 1000 Kms in around 11-12 hours. But there is a technical halt, so this is a rubbish thing this doesn't make your train non stop. Your are not only letting people inn officially. A Big zero for this mind set.
So technical halt should be converted to stop of this train.

there are still problems like crossing, signal etc. This should also be tacked

I think actually problem is not the distance problem is the average speed of train technical stoppage given for maintenance of train cleaning up toilets and also continuous run for more than 4 hours. so if the average speed of train 250km per hour no need to give technical stoppage else its very difficult train runs 10-12 hours continuously

if u want nonstop run for 11-12 hours..u better catch airways.....
in case of railways.....a stop mayb technical or commercial is required atleast in ever 400-500 kms ...
there mayb many reasons like crew change/engiene change/power change/zonal change/speed restriction, etc.+no system is prefect...der mayb a stop 4 crossing...or mayb bcoz other trains r delayed.....etc. so duronto concept is good...bcoz it allows only ened 2 end passengers 2 board the train(even half ticketers can board).....and also provides technical halts without disrupting the schedule

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
