kamakhya ranchi is not a daily train as of now. so what is the preferred combo of trains for passengers from ne to reach rnc?
Kamakhya Ranchi is a bi-weekly for the last 7 years...previously New Jalpaiguri Asansol(15711/15712),then Alipurduar Jn Ranchi(15761/15762) & since last 2 years its KYQ RNC(15661/62)....Kamakhya or GHY doesnt have any demand for it since it's inception..the whole demand is for Darjeeling & Dooars..yes alternatives are likely to get down @ BWN by any HWH/SDAH bound trains & then catch HWH RNC Shatabdi...But people mostly dont prefer this because of several reasons:
<i> There are plenty of Tea Garden Labours bound for Santal Pargana's working in the 6000+Tea Gardens in Darjeeling & Dooars..For them to interchange train is a tough decision

why not come to rampurhat by kanchanjungha and board vananchal? that would be a daily connection...and also safe...
I dont think getting a berth in Vananchal would be easy :( Otherwise good RSA suggestion :)
naah, vananchal is not a crack in demand train...anyways, we are diverting from the topic...
but mahananda , whenever noticed by me at patna, was brimming with passengers in all class...so much so that u cant recognize the difference between sleeper and general...
