So, you mean to say if a new train to SBC/MAS and TVC is introduced you accept it skipping Ernakulam citing it has already got connections to SBC/TVC.
You have compared Alleppy with TVC Mail & Cheran. Both are SF and Alleppy is Express train.
You are complaining 16042 takes same time as Cheran between CBE & MAS. You are comparing with TVC Mail. Both are SF. This is ridiculous. I have not seen anyone demanding a Non-SF to be fatser than SF in any section of IR.

ever you say in future no trains can skip CBE and also some might be rerouted. CBE came out of PGT. So, no more injustice to CBE.
Regarding patronage at CBE. You mean to say 15 Lakhs populated city not able to provide whereas small towns/villages could.
I have travelled in 16042.
If you again say if needed connection a new train can be demanded. I can also say for every 10-15 KMS stop people should demand for MEMU and not ask the Express train to halt.

Well, First of All, You can't Skip ERS/ERN(Which ever route (ALLP/KTYM) you take). It is same as ED (you can't skip it too, all becaue its the major crew point), all because there is crew change for majority (Only the 2 JSes and Parasuram are the Exceptions on both ways) of the trains. Moreover, A train coming from PGT(Bye passing SRR) must undergo a crew change at ERN/ERS(all because PGT/ED Crews have Road Learning till ERS only). I have only seen a very few of the 15 lakh population you have mentioned using this train from CBE (and hardly anyone from PTJ too). My point is just this - Why do we need to waste the time of other passengers in the train just for the sake of this very few number passengers???
And

FYI information, all the trains through ERS/ERN at Mid Night (very odd timings) have a crew change. So, just as I told above, you can't Skip ERS/ERN.
And, both 16041/42 are really superb trains in ED-MAS Sector, faster than many superfasts. I haven't or never demanded this (Its not me who set the timetable), its been like that for so long!
Again, There is only one MEMU train in its section. Moreover, Here, people demand stops and trains get good patranage too (Except the Vaikom road halt of Kerala Express, I'm very much happy to take away that halt). But in CBE's case, its all demanding and getting stop is going on, and hardly someone using it. If there is patronage, the stop must be there. But no patronage and simply a halt for political reasons and wasting other passengers time... That is what happened here.

I know this from the day of diversion.
My Friend who worked in GR that week from ED to ERN told me they overtook 16041 on the way. I was wondering how did it happen, then I got the WTT and found out this.

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
