MULUND TO CST(after 3 months)
life was going gr8 @belgaum was away from the busy life of mumbai and used to miss it a lot.den n 24th morning reached mumbai.it was as welcoming as earlier and nothing seemed to be changed.on 27 i had planed a trip to cst and sum other parts of south mumbai.left home and reached mulund station.the same story continued, the no. of counters open were less and the queue increasing.stood in a queue, the condition at the station looked worse than earlier.people tried many ways to get directly to the counter and this would agitate the people in the queue and resulted in arguments.finally after a patient waiting of 15 mins my turn came.i asked for 1 cst return

and gave her 20 rupees.she said 10 rupees more sir.i was startled.she then told "sir the fare has increased",i paid the rest and den checked the ticket.so the railways had hiked the fare from rs 9 to 15.anyways i left and made my way to the indicator.there was a 3.45 fast and a 3.40 S.i made mi way to PF4 via the FOB and was waiting for the fast local.1st came the slow on 2nd PF and it was crowded.den in no time came my fast local.it was a MRVC local.was very very crowded but i had made my mind dat i wanna travel in this only.got in sumhow and den i didnt had to move myself the crowd coming behind me dragged me straight to the seats.the local then started accelerating fast and in no time we reached bhandup, our first stop.less people got out and their double numbr got in.soon we left for vikhroli.the good part was that the train didn't stop much and kept on moving with a good speed.on my way we overtook a number of slow trains.our trains was assigned to stop at ghatkopar, kurla, dadar, byculla.the train was crowded till kurla.once it reached dadar it became empty.saw the yard at dadar and kurla.from byculla on wards the speed was reduced and this gave me a nice view of the trains in the yards.at sandhurst road i saw the deccan odyssey which was hiding in the yard.finally after a journey of 40/45 mins i reaches CST.the environment there was busy and rocking as usual.got down from the local and walked till the exit.this trip in a local after a long time was rlly gr8 and i enjoyed it a lot :)

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
