Do you citizens think that any favaorable action is taken by RPF during mishappening (like stolen, snatching or misbehaving) with passenger ? OR is it fruitful for the passenger to lodge FIR with RPF?

Sir, In SR Govt; Railways Police (GRP) provided a mobile number as 'HELP LINE'
(09962500500)In emergency you may call the said number and inform your location in the train and nature of problem, then the control room in charge advice their counter part who is on duty in the the train, in turn the GPR will search you and extend the helping hand to you. By chance, if; no GRP personal is not available in the train, then at next stop (station) they may meet you. This the system....But ...?????

Sir,
I dont mean any offend!!
Anyway, personal security is very much on passenger's own will,
1. Mostly, the train's chain is pulled to stop, @ any pre-fix place to rob & passenger's only are instrumental in acting against any such alarming chain pulling scenario!!
2.
...
Never the train's been attacked or chain is pulled to harass female, but its the very own fellow passenger who behave with that negative approach towards female, sometimes!! Resist & report them!!
3. We @ home safeguard our interest & have to do such, even while traveling. Lock the belongings in seat chain, be cautious near big junctions or unscheduled stops & frankly, dont hesitate in asking ticket less or problematic fellow to either shift coach or report them to authority (TTE/RPF)
4. Some areas are prone for decoit incidences, kindly shut the window in night & keep the door well-closed.
If we are cautious, i dont think IR Traveling is such an embarrassing incident!!

These days, every other day, we are getting requests from members to allow email login to their FB-based IRI account. 10 years ago, we had given the option for users to login through FaceBook - in retrospect, this was a mistake. These days, apparently, users are quitting FaceBook in droves because...
