generally one lower side berth is allotted for two passengers. where two passengers sit, in rac cases, 3 passengers sit. one passenger is allotted the side upper berth. the remaining two have to share the lower berth. in your case, two persons will be allotted a berth and the third will be allotted separately. there are remote chances of your confirmed berths. but still berths may be allotted if some persons do not turn up in the originating/intermediate stations and the empty berth is given according to priority in the compartment. In the chart, rac number is given at the lower level, from where you can check up your priority number (for eg if its second on the list, by chance, if two persons dont turn up, first two rac persons will be getting confirmed berth. no.3 person will get if any other intermediate station berth is vacant. good luck...
