a shopkeeper named Kasim Ali had sought a stay order in court, but it was rejected. The next hearing is scheduled for October 18th, with hopes that the traders will receive relief. Bedi pointed out that the traders on this road possess land leases and are being wrongly labeled as encroachers by the PWD, raising questions about the department's practices. Traders expressed grievances and announced their intention to meet government representatives and organize protests. They also mentioned that they are not being provided with compensation. The meeting was attended by several traders including Rakesh Sharma, Sunil Chauhan, Iqbal Khan, Bhunan Bhatti, Sunil Jangid, Ramlakhan Toonwal, Purn Singh, Vinod Bhatti, Prithvi Singh, Uday Sharma, Aslam Khan, and Shravan Suraliya.
