In that case, if at all this train were to become a 16 coacher, even then it would be reduced to just 2-3 Sleepers (from currently 10)... much like Upasana/Kumbh, would it be of much help - given the quantum of rush on this train?
Because given the current infrastructure around Kalka railway station, it's frankly quite herculean to construct platforms there now for 22 coach trains. For standard 22 coach LHB rake, it'll have to be short terminated at CDG, which again some of our forum members were saying wouldn't be...

Any which ways, increasing frequency of WB SK with extension upto CDG for now seems like a pretty feasible option (I wonder why Railways has not built second alternative terminal for such an important city like Chandigarh already, at SAS Nagar Mohali for example).
