a little over 825 passengers so far. To address this, the Railways are considering extending the route of the Meerut-Lucknow Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi. Officials believe this extension would increase passenger numbers and improve the train's performance. This strategy was previously successful in the case of the Gorakhpur-Lucknow Vande Bharat, which saw increased ridership after its route was extended to Prayagraj. The Vande Bharat Express is the fastest train on the Meerut-Lucknow route, taking only 7 hours compared to the 8:25 hours of Rajya Rani Express and 9:30 hours of Nauchandi Express. The train departs from Lucknow Charbagh at 2:45 PM and reaches Meerut at 9:55 PM daily. The return journey starts from Meerut at 6:35 AM and reaches Lucknow at 1:00 PM. The train operates six days a week, except on Tuesdays, making stops at Moradabad and Bareilly during both journeys. Senior DCM of North Railway, Rajnish Tiwari, highlighted the potential benefit of extending the Vande Bharat Express to Varanasi, especially during festivals. He believes it would provide passengers with greater convenience and make the train more viable.

Meerut-Lucknow route par ab sabse tez chalne wali train Vande Bharat Express hai. Meerut City se Lucknow Rajya Rani Express se Vande Bharat 1 ghanta 25 minute aur Nauchandi Express se kareeb dhai ghanta pehle pahunchati hai. Rajya Rani Express Meerut se Lucknow tak ka safar tay karne mein aamtaur par 8:25 ghanta ka samay leti hai to Nauchandi Express yeh duri 9:30 ghanta mein puri karti hai. Vande Bharat Express Meerut se Lucknow pahunchne mein sirf 7 ghanta hi lagati hai. Lucknow-Meerut Vande Bharat Express Lucknow ke Charbagh station se har din dopahar 2:45 baje rawana hoti hai aur raat 9:55 baje Meerut pahunchti hai. Meerut se yeh subah 6:35 baje khulkar dopahar ek baje Lucknow pahunchti hai. Meerut se Lucknow ke beech chalne wali Vande Bharat Express ka sanchaln hafte mein chhe din hota hai. Mangalvaar ko train ka parichalan nahi hota hai. Aate-jaate waqt Lucknow-Meerut Vande Bharat Moradabad aur Bareli mein thaharti hai. Uttar Railway ke Senior DCM Rajnish Tiwari batate hain ki Varanasi jile ke beech sanchalit Vande Bharat train mein 20 coach ho jaane se tyoharon ke dauraan yaatriyon ko aavagaman mein kaafi aasani hogi. Iske alawa Meerut se Lucknow ke beech jo Vande Bharat train chal rahi hai use Banaras tak chalane par manthan ho raha hai. Ummeed hai ki jaldi hi is par nirnay ho jaayega. Iske baad yeh train Meerut se chalkar Lucknow hote hue Banaras tak jaayegi. Isse bhi yaatriyon ko badi suvidha milegi.

GKP-LKO was the most disastrous Vande Bharat, extending upto Prayagraj has just taken the tag away though, it runs with quite a lot of pax although in packets though, not end to end. The most disastrous Vande Bharat imo is RKMP-REWA Vande Bharat, it runs mostly empty as much as I have observed although locals can actually shed a much better light on my claim, still sharing you screenshots of today's booking of 22550 PRYJ-GKP VB, 20173 RKMP-REWA VB and 22489 LKO-MTC VB

Railways dont want to remove any loss making VB because of political reasons....In many routes replacing it with intercity type trains can be far more beneficial

Instead of wasting path and increasing losses...they can make use of it in a better way

Lucknow ki Patna, Dehradun, Delhi vali VB's achi hain lakin Prayagraj, Gorakhpur, Meerut ye teeno bakwas hain... better inhe Vande Metro me convert kar den aur LKO - MTC ka TT reverse kar den.
