This plan involves constant vigilance by forest personnel, the establishment of 12 watch towers along the tracks, and the use of sensor solar lights to alert personnel. When a train approaches, forest staff are informed 15 minutes in advance, allowing them to clear the tracks of any lions. The train speed has also been limited to 40 km/h on this stretch. These combined efforts resulted in the rescue of 46 lions in the month of August alone.
