Mumbai Rail Users Gear Up For 'White-Day' Protest As Talks With Central Railway End In Deadlock

They also plan to meet with Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw to further discuss their grievances. They have requested the implementation of a 'Code Red' procedure for suburban trains during peak hours, allowing them to use tracks reserved for long-distance trains, but this was rejected by the DRM due to resource limitations. The representatives are critical of the introduction of new long-distance trains while local services remain the same. They also questioned why projects like the Kalwa-Airoli Link are stalled while other major projects are completed.

Representatives apna peaceful protest black bands pehenke white clothes mein karne wale hain. Woh Chief Minister Eknath Shinde aur Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw se bhi milne wale hain. Unhone suburban trains ke liye peak hours mein 'Code Red' procedure ko implement karne ka request kiya hai, jisse woh long-distance trains ke liye reserved tracks use kar sake, par DRM ne resource limitations ki wajah se yeh request reject kar di. Representatives ne new long-distance trains ko introduce karne par aapatti jataayi hai jabki local services waise hi hain. Unhone yeh bhi puchha ki Kalwa-Airoli Link jaise projects kyun rukhe hue hain jabki dusre major projects complete ho gaye hain.
