project is estimated to cost 71.21 crore rupees and will be constructed on the Jodhpur Division, including sections at Phalodi, Luni, and Merta Road. Meanwhile, the Jodhpur Division of the North Western Railway has achieved a 92.73% on-time performance for passenger trains in the first quarter of 2023-24. This was achieved by implementing strict measures against delays caused by factors like chain pulling, road traffic congestion, and law and order issues. The division also focused on planned block schedules for maintenance and repairs, and regular monitoring to ensure timely train operation.
