The project also includes a dedicated 55-acre depot in Hinjewadi for maintenance and operations. Construction of a 1.6-kilometer double-decker viaduct along Ganesh Khind Road toward Pune University is also underway. Traffic route changes have been implemented since May 4 to facilitate the rapid installation of girders and construction of pillars.
