BAD day for those who are dreaming for India as developed nation till 2047.
A person who is ready to pay 3115 and in PT, this amount reach upto even 10000 will now have to look for other options just because INDIAN RAILWAYS want a person who wants to pay just 825 can travel.
Economy works on demand price relationship but in Indian Railways they are satisfying demand of that class which is paying just 825 and not even able to support there own cost of travel.
A person who could have contributed 10000 Rupees to Government using that government can feed 10 passengers of those category who just want to pay 825, Now will pay the same or more amount to some private operator which will result more financial losses to government and more earning for businessmen.
I will say that now Third Class coaches should also be reintroduced to more poor population can travel.

Earlier, there were 11 AC coaches, but now there are only 5. Total bummer for those hoping India would be all developed by 2047. Someone who was down to pay 3115 but might end up shelling out 10000 now has to find another way 'cause Indian Railways prefer folks who can only cough up 825. Economics usually depends on supply and demand, but in Indian Railways, they seem cool with serving just those willing to pay 825, which doesn't even cover their travel costs. Someone who could've coughed up 10000 bucks to help the government feed 10 passengers in need of the 825 option will now end up throwing that money at some private company, leading to more losses for the government and more profits for the businesses. I reckon they should bring back third-class coaches so more peeps can afford to travel.
