dear blogger - dont get emotional. raising a demand - "Demand" denotes asking for something to be provided (in this case providing facility of trains)- which as you pretty well know - is impossible through this site. starting a discussion - yes - thats pretty fine. its the word which made the difference. Moreover, some number of bloggers will support/not support you etc. but the main point is - the demand - which can be fulfilled is only by the railway authorities not through bloggers here. that was the point.
For your info, Shirdi, even though a very popular place, has got connected after long time. Similarly connecting pandharpur will also take some time. meanwhile, we should not get highly emotional...

or disappointed if not done at a pace which you feel should/could be done. we are all for the trains, pl look from rlys point of view also - availability of coaches, timings etc. you can organize signature campaigns and provide it to the zonal/divisional office who can help you out. one time signature campaign will not work, but regular followups have to be done. for support, you can give some approx figures of income etc so that the process gets speeded up.
Pl dont misunderstand that all bloggers are against you - they are trying to guide you and informing you that instead of writing in these blogs, positive approach would be to approach the right authorities and have a forceful campaign.
