individuals were caught during joint investigations by RPF teams, the Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), and the Government Railway Police (GRP). During the month of January 2024, the RPF apprehended a total of 30 individuals involved in passenger theft, recovering 40 mobile phones, 1 laptop, and cash, totaling approximately INR 6.52 lakhs. The RPF is committed to providing guidance and assistance to rail users, urging them to contact 139 (toll-free) for any issues during their train journey.
