A catering company, Express Food Company based in Itarsi, was fined ₹45,000 by Indian Railways for serving food containing a cockroach on the Bhopal-Jabalpur Vande Bharat Express. about finding a cockroach in his meal. This incident followed a similar incident on February 1st, where a passenger found a dead cockroach in their meal on the same train route. This led to the passenger filing a formal complaint and later tweeting about the incident. IRCTC apologized to the passenger for the incident.

ne apne khane mein cockroach dekh kar uske baare mein tweet kiya. Isse pehle, 1 February ko bhi, issi train route par ek passenger ko apne khane mein dead cockroach mila tha. Isse unhone Jabalpur railway station par formal complaint ki aur baad mein uske baare mein tweet kiya. IRCTC ne passenger se mafi maangi.
