I wanna share the sad experience of getting tatkal ticket @ kharagpur station. I went to kharagpur for diwali vacations from bangalore. As I've cofirmed ticket on 17th Nov ,however postponed my travel on 19th so I decided to take tatkal and went to kgp rlystation . I asked to the rly staff and they suggested people will wait from night onwards, i got shocked and decided to wait 12 hrs. I came @ 10 PM to reservation counter and no body was there and felt i'll get ticket after some time 2 more guys came and filling the reservation forms ,I asked them and got info that need to fill the forms and make sequence number...

on it and leave the form @ counter. Badly i'm 8th in the queue of 1st counter out of 3 counters. I got tensed will i get ticket or not. Long hours of night passed and Morning weird story has started.
From 7 onwards around 25-30 boys came, because they are mostly class 9 or 10th students. They are roaming around i dont understand whose these are looking like localites and even single face looks like came for journey ticket. I inquired one of the guy will I get ticket for 12863 hwh-ypr ? they said impossible even am 8th in the queue. Mean while I observe a rpf police is hitting one guy with his book and they went outside and chated some time. I came to know then these people are related to agents n shocked.
The reservation forms for tatkal at the counter kept side and people for general reservation are standing at queue. At 9.15 those people are formed a Q beside general Q. I'm noticing everything and sitting calm. All the 25-30 boys whom i mentioned before are standing at 3 counters and forms for tatkal which give u sequence numbers are thrown .

One guy is giving the form,proof( the original person whom need to travel) and money for each person stand in the Q.I asked them whom u r and am waiting from night 10 , the guy whom distributing these came and asked me what is u r number on the form and u r standing at that position only if u want u can count from the counter. I shocked n not able to answer . Mean while they took some huge amount from 1 lady and given to the 2nd person who stands in Q. I'm 8th person in the Q and I didnt get ticket for hwh-ypr and even for prashanti from bubaneshwar.
