Hi ,people have grievances against IR in forum as well outside .but let us appreciate that few good things
1.it is 4the largest network in World
2.Runs daily over 14000 trains in safe manner
3Amenities have increased in station ,train etc .Just travelled in new MEmu trains plying in our area few days back Even normal coaches have cushioned seats...

In SRi have not seen in Normal MEMU coach ,but in ist class yes definitely Seen and travelled
But now all coaches have cushioned seats may be it is new rake of 2023 so ,Rly have obliged passenger .

MEmu trains in mas region are mas tirupathi,- MaS Nellore. , Msb - tirumalpur ,Msb - AJJ via CGL and MSB melmaruvattur .

Regarding 4th Point,
Considering the inflation and per Capita in last 20 years, it is well known fact that passengers who used to travel in Sleeper Class 20 Years ago can now afford to travel in 3rd AC Coaches so IR can easily check coach composition and booking history of trains 20 years ago and increase the AC coaches acordingly.

Ok mridul ji ,I can afford AC and you can also .
My choice is always 1 night journey of 600to 700 Km( 12 to 14 hrs ) ,try SL and if journey more than 2 night or distance over 1400 km ,will go in AC
But still lot of people will go in SL or General class .So reducing SL coaches may be railways way of generating more revenue but How will poor / lower middle clas people will travel ??
