Hi,
Just because LGD is seen everywhere, it becomes a pan India loco shed? or is there some statement released from railways saying if other zones have shortage of locos, LGD can cater them?

There is nothing like a pan Indian shed. It is an idiotic take. Sheds like GZB,TKB,HWH etc have more WAP7s spread across the length and breadth of the country. No body declares them as pan Indian shed!
Exactly my point. I was so curious with this Pan India shed thing all of a sudden popping up for LGD.
Going by this logic even KYN shed locos are seen everywhere so it should also be called as a pan India loco shed where as CR too faces severe loco shortage. Thanks to its holding of WCAMx otherwise the situation would have been more worse ans diesels would have still be ruling in its territory.
