Most of the times, couples travelling together are allotted a coupe. However, it depends upon luck, number of passengers travelling on a single PNR, number of couples travelling on that particular day, VIP movement on that particular day.
All you need is to select coupe as seat option while booking. Alternatively, you could also raise a coupe request at the boarding station( it should be originating station for the train) with Sr DCM/DCM/ACM( it should be submitted in person with printout of confirmed seat and ID cards of all travelling passengers)....
