12634 JCO 01.06.2023 from CAPE, departed from TPJ at midnight after a scheduled halt. But then, after approx., 20 kms, the train came to an unscheduled halt midway between BXS and VLDE. It was because of a huge tyre that was placed by some miscreants on the railway track. The alert LP spotted the tyre from a distance and applied emergency brakes just in time. But still, the loco hit the object and suffered minor damages. After some 40 mins, the loco was repaired and the train left to VRI. Thanks to the LPs, thousands of lives were saved that night.

Thank God everyone was saved here.. Kudos to the LPs.
On the otherhand, the @*sh****$ who had placed the tyre shouldn't be labelled as Miscreants but as terrorists . They have to be punished severely

Similar near sabotage took place in Kerela too just a few days back.
Maybe, may not that is not for me to speculate on! There will be an investigation surely, let the details come out.
I don't think that any of such accident will put impact on elections. Remember even after 26/11, INC was able to retain the power
