Actually some very "buddhimaan" people think all solo travellers as loafers and they are of the opinion that they can be treated as the way they want. Even for simplest things, they think they are superior than us. My simple funda is if you talk well, I will reply the same way. But if start rudely, my 1st reply may be polite but 2nd one might be rude, for which I don't care, neither am I sorry.
I have met some very good people too, who are curious to know about my long journeys and how I manage solo (especially due to my weight). Some people have even given their ayurvedic practitioner cards. Some want to know if I have an youtube...
more... channel, when they see me recording something.
& at the same time some people have also been rude if I don't agree to their demands of especiallu exchanging to UB (in 3rd Ac, I can happily go to MB, SU, but not UB, In 2ac, I am OK for any berth) or don't agree to help them with their luggage (just because I am male solo traveller, they think its my obligation to help them). If you ask politely, I may help, but it wont be possible if you are rude and also expect my help. Hire a porter, simple.
Just follow Tit for Tat, whoever it is, even if a Sr ctzn is in front of you. Respect is 2 way journey, not one.
