Stoppage time at Gwalior must be increased to 5 minutes.

Today in CC class 282 passengers boarded in train and 6 passengers deboarded.

Considering 8 coaches with 16 gates, average passengers per gate...

are 18.

This create too much rush and uncomfortable situation.

Even in Executive class 33 passengers had to board with only 4 gates means average 8 passengers per gate.

Giving just 5-6 seconds per person for boarding in train is simply discrimination with passengers boarding from Gwalior.

Agree. Same issue with many trains... with just 2 minutes of stoppage. Not sure whose idea was that.

And you can't count entire train to made this calculation, people borad to the specific coach where they have reservation and it's chaos everyday.

We can imagine for passengers boarding in C2 and C3 coaches.

Per person is getting only 2 seconds. Situation get worsen when corridor get blocked when crowd enter from both ends and rush to other end of coach for reaching till seat number.

I can't say for other trains but trains originating from Agra and Veerangna LakshmiBai must have 5 minutes stoppage time.

They cleverly avoided this situation in Taj Express by giving just 15% seats as remote Quota to Gwalior but for Gatiman it is in general quota so around 50% booking get done from Gwalior only.
