The work of doubling of rail track between PANVEL and KARJAT had started in year 2020. Leveling of land and construction of one small rail bridge over Mumbai-Pune Expressway ( near Panvel) was started. What is the current status of this railway project? Has any rail overbridge work started? Can any one from that area throw some light on this project?

Doubling is updated, tripling is not possible to update unless doubling is completed.
i m not asking about tripling update. doubling ele in progress should be updated in green dotted line and not blue dotted as done in atlas as single le already operational in this section.

I happened to travel on this section last week. Work is going on in full speed. Second Railway overbridge over road Highway work in progress. Levelling of land and construction of underpass are also in full spring. Work should be over by September. Also additional platform at Panvel, work has started.
Yes. A new FEDL suburban section is under construction to augment already existing single line which is quiet busy. So Panvel karjat is going to be a triple line section.
