Please provide the following information-

1. For Lucknow-Kanpur rail section-

(a) What is the Maximum Permissible Speed (in short MPS) between Lucknow-Kanpur rail section?

(b) If it is 110 kmph, then please inform whether Northern Railway has any plan to upgrade/increase the MPS of the said section to 130kmph or 160kmph?

(c) If there is any such plan, then when it will be fully completed for this rail section?

2. For rail section between Saharanpur-Lucknow route-

(a) What is the Maximum Permissible Speed (in short MPS) of different railway sections lies between Saharanpur and Lucknow (via LRJ, MB, RMU, BE, SPN and BLM)? Please provide section-wise MPS separately for each section.

(b) If it all are 100 kmph, then whether Northern Railway has any plan to upgrade the MPS of the subject section to 110 kmph or 130kmph?

(c) If there is any such plan, then when it will be fully completed for the said rail sections (section-wise)?

Very good. Recently somewhere I read they upgraded the speed on MB SRE from 100 kmph to 110 kmph. And for 130 kmph on Lko BE track we have to wait for Balamau electronic non interlocking works it's still manually done for the yard and Unnao line. I think not before 2023 June

Lko CNB is 110 at present the work to upgrade it to 160 kmph is on and by 2024 the section will be ready for this speed right now you can expect the section to move up in speed to 130 kmph by 2023 July as works are on in various sections of this route
